We were privileged to design Delta Air Lines' first digital ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) annual report. As one of the world's largest airlines, Delta required a top-tier responsive website to showcase its commitment to sustainability initiatives and responsible business practices.

Delta Air Lines, an industry-leading organization, operates a vast network of flights across the globe, serving millions of passengers annually. With a strong emphasis on environmental, social, and governance aspects, Delta is dedicated to fostering sustainable practices within the aviation industry.
Bringing a traditional printed report to the digital realm
The challenge was seamlessly transitioning Delta's previously printed and PDF-based annual report to a digital platform while maintaining its structure and essence. Additionally, the website design needed to handle a substantial amount of content without overwhelming the readers, as the report comprised extensive articles.
Information design: a user-friendly web structure with clear typography
We created a website structure that organized the articles into meaningful categories, allowing readers to find the information quickly. To ensure that even the longer chapters were easy to read, we used different text styles to break the content into smaller, more digestible portions. Furthermore, we designed a grid that allowed for a wide variety of paragraph configurations.
Streamlining implementation through a design system
Given the website's size and complexity, we created a design system that provided a consistent visual language across all articles. This system allowed for efficient implementation, ensuring a cohesive experience for readers while reducing development time and effort.
